In a bid to boost its goalkeeping stocks, South Melbourne FC has completed the signing of young goalkeeper Zaim Zeneli from Sydney Olympic. Zeneli was understudy to former Socceroo Mark Bosnich during the latter's stint at Olympic, and after Bosnich left the Belmore based club Zamelli took over the number one keeper's role at Olympic for the majority of the 2010 NSW Premier League season.
Zeneli will be fighting for the first choice goalkeeping spot against long time reserve and under 21s goalkeeper Stefaan Sardelic, who performed well during the Singapore Cup quarter final last year against Bangkok Glass.
