Three more clubs – PAOK FC, Sevilla FC and FC Steaua Bucureşti – booked their place in Friday's draw for the UEFA Europa League round of 32 during the penultimate night of group stage action.

Club Brugge KV 1-2 Villarreal CF
NK Dinamo Zagreb 0-1 PAOK FC
Villarreal were already through but topped the section after coming from behind to win in Belgium, Giuseppe Rossi scoring both goals. PAOK only needed a draw to pip Dinamo to second place, yet advanced in style behind the Yellow Submarine thanks to Dimitris Salpingidis’s only goal.

FC Dynamo Kyiv 0-0 FC Sheriff
AZ Alkmaar 3-0 FC BATE Borisov
Dynamo and BATE had confirmed their qualification before kick-off, and the Belarussian club failed to take advantage of Dynamo’s home draw against the section’s bottom side as they suffered a heavy loss in the Netherlands to end their hopes of winning the section.
Group F
AC Sparta Praha 1-1 PFC CSKA Moskva
FC Lausanne-Sport 0-1 US Città di Palermo
All placings in the group were decided going into Matchday 6, where a draw in Prague prevented CSKA from completing a clean sweep of six victories. Ezequiel Muñoz’s winner for Palermo in Switzerland left Lausanne six points adrift at the foot of the section.

FC Karpaty Lviv 1-1 Paris Saint-Germain FC
Sevilla FC 2-2 Borussia Dortmund
PSG had previously booked their last-32 berth and tied up top spot with a point in Ukraine. The drama was reserved for southern Spain, where Sevilla were pushed all the way by a Dortmund side who needed a win to progress ahead of their opponents. Alas, the winning goal never came.
Group K
SSC Napoli 1-0 FC Steaua Bucuresti
Liverpool FC 0-0 FC Utrecht
It was also win or bust for Napoli, who left it until the third minute of added time – Edinson Cavani nodding in at the near post – to score the goal they needed to wrest second spot behind Liverpool from Steaua. The Reds finish the group stage with ten points, the lowest tally of the group winners to date.

Besiktas JK 2-0 SK Rapid Wien
FC Porto 3-1 PFC CSKA Sofia
Porto striker Falcao had a penalty saved to miss out on scoring in all six group games, although the Dragons completed an impressive unbeaten campaign with another routine win. Beşiktaş, already assured of second place, were again too strong for Rapid.
