12.15pm: Blessing of the Sydney Olympic FC 2011 team with the Holy Cross by His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos of Australia
12.30 pm: Service of the Blessing of the waters with the Holy Cross by His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos of Australia
1.30pm: Traditional Greek Glendi with live music from the Ammos band and DJ Crazy Kon.
Kiosks for lunch, Hot Souvlakia and cold drinks, Plenty of parking. Bring the whole family for this traditional Epiphany event

Sydney Olympic will be attending the event and have a stall running, giving out juniorp season passes, selling season passes, merchandise sales, collecting emails and making some noise.
See you all on the 9th

what a day guys!!!!
approx 10,000 ++ people in attendace
the stall was fantastic, alot alot of activity.
Special thanks to three new signings that were with us nearly all day, saying hello to all and had a great day!
Nenad Vekic - GK , 20 yrs old, currently playing for Sydney Hakoa in NYL Will Angek - Left Winger, 21 yrs old, from Newcastle Jets NYL Alan Smith - ST, 27 yrs old, from FC Dallas in MSL
All three of them were so impressed with the stall and were more than happy to talk to all the fans and had a good day in the son.

Everyone at the festival saw the stall and were very impressed, over 600 kids registered and received the Under 16's passes, jerseys were sold and even some were given away.
Emails were collected in big numbers, new members were signed up and pages in the sponsors book were taken up.
Olympic stall had photos taken with many of the fans, the police and father grillas and many more!!
It was a good day and really great for Olympic, very happy to of helped in this one

Sydney Olympic supports the local community in front of thousands posted by on January 10, 2011 Sydney Olympic attended the Yarra Bay celebrations yesterday Sunday 9 January 2011, where in front of over ten thousand people and dignitaries such as opposition leader Mr Barry O’Farrell, acting Premier Mrs Carmel Tebbutt, Archbishop Stylianos, members of the community and local MP’s. The Club had a loud blue and white presence with a large stall offering free Under 16s Season passes and also selling memberships for 2011 with giveaways and merchandise on sale. In attendance at the Olympic store was former Newcastle jet winger and new signing for 2011 William Angel, young shot stopper and a goal keeper with a bright future, Nenad Vekic and surprise new signing that will be officially in the next few days. Over 400 young Sydney Olympic fans signed up and received their Season Passes for 2011 with much excitement and anticipation to see Peter Tsekenis first grade team in action.
