Hi Guys,
Venues and opponents are yet to be determined by FNSW, but we know that the 13s through to the 16s are already guaranteed to be in their respective finals series games, starting on Saturday 8 August.
We discussed a while ago that it would be good to have an ultras presence at these games. Something for us to do while the first grade is out of action, there might also be potential to con some of the first graders into coming with us and supporting the juniors!
say we decide to go watch the 16s, they play at 1.15 from memory. Who's keen?

Even though I was the one to think of the idea, I think I am only keen on the Reserve Grade. Everyones thoughts?

If we ate goin to get upset over things like this then we will get upset over almost anything and that's dangerous, we need to be careful.
It would be good for these kids to learn to love Olympic, but they need to learn from somewhere and from someone.
I think we need to keep them exposed with people like us, they have to see that it's not a stupid idea to love the club.
I'd still like to go see these guys as ultras at some stage in the finals. The offseason is too long to go without Olympic!!

I agree and disagree anothermp. While we should not be upset that they didn't join us, if we were to sing for them, their overly inflated egos would reach new levels and they'll think that they are king shit. We should continue the way we have been, chant at matches and whoever wants to join us is welcome.

I dont see how their egos is relevant, theyre just kids.. it sounds more like our own egos is stopping us from supporting our own team
u16s play this saturday at Valentine, 1.30pm. u20s play this sunday at Gabbie Stadium at 12.30pm.
I can make either and I still think it is a good idea to have Ultras there. It all depends on who else wants to come.
really guys we've gone to see Olympic play shit football all year in first grade, why cant we give another hour or two to support some of the juniors that quite probably actually play some decent football?

Their egos are relevant when we ask them to join us and they stick their noses in the air and decline. But they continue to sit a stone's throw away from us. I don't get that. They sit close so they can watch us, but why not join the fun? Unless they are there to make fun.
I'm not going to attend but at the same time, i'm not going to stop anyone else from attending.
