My fellow Sydney Olympic Ultras It has been 8 years that our beloved team Sydney Olympic Fc unfortunately competing In the NSW PREMIER LEAGUE after the sad year when the NSL the competition had ended which sometimes I miss it during the summer competition that we all grew up watching.
Another year that we all looking forward is the opening season as you all aware that all 11 home matches will be away during the upgrading Bel more sports ground thanks to the federal Lab our party stimulate package giving 10 million dollars.
I hope the dream that we all have is to secure a home ground at Bel more Sports ground for the next 25 years.
We are all delighted to have Peter Tsekenis back I remember Peter wearing the Sydney Olympic Jersey during the NSL playing at Liechardt oval and representing The young Socceroos in the world youth Championship in Australia 1993 with the assistance coach Peter Peter Papoythis who has been an assistance coach under Peter Papanikitas in the final year of the NSL Sharing the knowledge and showing the Passion of our great club that has history tradition and passion
We are all lucky that us the Greek Community that has Greek Radio 24hours on the Am station on 2MM that no other community hasn't have we are lucky and we are proud.
With the big thanks the owner Jim Augerinos who has the passion about football and saved Sydney Olympic fc in the final year in the NSL. having program with George Giotas promoting the beautiful game, our beloved Sydney Olympic and the Nsw Premier league competition every Sunday.
The Greek newspapers O KOSMOS and the Greek Herald which in forming us Greek football and the Nsw Premier league competion
I would like to thank the directors giving up their commitments and helping our club being strong and producing and developing players especially the Juniors which is very important.
I would like to thank you The young fans Poaktzi Blaze anotheramp Mini If i missed a few names my apologies by creating a forum that we can express our opinion whether we agree or disagree and bring the youth together creating atmosphere ihope new fans will come and make he or her feel part of the group at the grounds our players do appreciated the support that our boys need both home and away.
We all hoping and dreaming that one day Our beloved Sydney Olympic Fc to be back in the top flight B league hoping playing against ex Nsl teams bring the people back to the games.
Hoping that this year will be our year and win a premiership that I hope every year so we can celebrate together
A someones said once I know that you cannot live on hope alone, but without it, life is not worth living.
