Makes life easier. Less people for the prez to control.  You don't really need more than 4. The constitution allows for a minimum of 3. |

how many in supporter commitee? 2 or 3 i saw last year
where all supporter commitee helper gone and where director gone?
olympic have office with full time staff cost money . where is money come from to pay all this?

Security have been doing carpark.
We have people who do the tickets.
To pay for the one full time worker we have obviously comes from the budget.
Now Louie, juding from your last few posts, are you going to tell us what your agenda against Olympic is?

You raise good points. I'll address them one by one. 1. There isn't really that much to do in a business that turns over $400k. You don't need 11 directors to do it. They'll just get in each others way. 2. The Volunteer committee were the oil that made the machine run in the past. Integral part of the club, but there's a side effect. The Board can't control a volunteer. They'll rather pay out of their own pockets for help as long as they can tell them what to do. Sliming down the Volunteer brigade to a couple of people who do as they're told and come each week, every week is easier to control. 3. If the board wants to pay out of their own pockets for employees that is their business. But we wont hear of any complaints (about losing personal money) in the future. If they are putting Olympic into debt by paying employees, there is nowhere they can run or hide. We will find them and hang each of them from the goalposts. |

I would like to see an Sydney Olympic that does not rely on supporters to do work, I want a Sydney Olympic that can pay for staff and get things down right.
In regards to Directors there many ways of looking at this.
Too many no direction but you have more people pumping it
Only a few you have vision, direction and action, but not many to pump it.
Lowy believes in option 2
