Western Sydney Rovers/retards will never get off the ground because its based around putting true football fans in a blender and expecting them to still be fans once theyve been pureed.
Hey Mate
I greet you as a friend not as an enemy. I understand your frustrations with the FFA and the A-league, hence why I don't normally support them. I will only support it if a western Sydney team comes into the comp. We don’t want to take anything away from your club. It has a long and unique heritage something you should be proud of. We actually want to include the Olympic ultras and the other clubs in our group that would really piss of Bling-fc and the FFA. We want to be the strongest Australia has ever seen mate. I want people to fear the name western Sydney and football together.
We have been in contact with all the premier league clubs and have invited them to the establishment of the fan forum to get their advice, input and blessings. Once we have the website up the forum will also be promoting all the clubs in Western Sydney not as rivals, but, as friends. We will also link the Ultras websites, sell the clubs merchandise and season tickets and take no percentage in return. We also want to invite the Ultra’s to take spots on the board to start bonds in the community. I hope we can get together to chat about this in a friendly matter.
United we Stand, Divided We Fall
Olympic and Western Sydney togther as brothers in arms

Adam,
It is not our intention or purpose to support a national competition and national body that is determined to destroy our club and trivialise its contribution to Australian football.
Likewise, our efforts are dedicated to strengthening the club's position through its programme and will not be deflected towards a concept that does not share our passion for Sydney Olympic FC nor our proven and honest love of the game.
Sydney Olympic FC was formed in 1957 and has played a pivotal role in Australian football, including deep community roots and a strong connection to the Socceroos, together with its status as a foundation member of the nation's first National League.
The suggestion that our club and that Sydney Olympic FC and the Olympic Ultras amalgamate with other groups to form a regonalised franchise is both offensive and flawed.
The founding of the Olympic Ultras was done so in order to facilitate the establishment and development of a dedicated, passionate and regimented supporters' group for Sydney Olympic FC.
Firstly, we are stakeholders in Australian football that have not been appropriately nor adequately represented by the current FFA, and thus have implemented a programme to once again find our voice and strengthen that voice.
Secondly, the Olympic Ultras have committed to acknowledge, respect and revere the Greek-Australian heritage of Sydney Olympic FC, and the both privileged and accountable status of the Club within the Greek-Australian community of Sydney.
Thirdly, Sydney Olympic FC has independently established an elite youth development programme that has its focus on developing talent for future generations, including accreditation from FNSW and full-time and committed staff, to the benefit of the game as a whole.
Fourthly, Sydney Olympic FC has signed a long-term agreement and has a permanent home at Belmore Sports Ground, in an area not conventionally considered 'Western Sydney'.
Sydney Olympic FC has;
- a stable and ambitious board,
- dedicated coaching staff at youth and senior level,
- a promising 2011 first team squad,
- a long-term deal for Belmore Sports Ground,
- a unique connection with the Greek-Australian community of Sydney,
- Womens teams for the first time,
- the highest average attendences in the NSWPL for at least the last two years,
- hosted AEK Athens for training sessions in mid-2010, and
- a healthy number of players progressing to elite representative teams and Gay Leagueclubs.
The Olympic Ultras have;
- a dedicated website with interviews, history, photos and our mission statement,
- an increasing number of fans and officials in a successful 2010 year off the park,
- co-hosted two Ultras u18s events with over 1000 attendees together, and
- a fledgling forum that is fast approaching 200 registered members and is quickly forming into a centre for discussion between fans and other stakeholders.
Adam, I can appreciate your determination to see a Western Sydney team in the Gay Leaguebut I hope you will agree from the above that Sydney Olympic and the Olympic Ultras are not looking to jettison our name, history and honour for a concept that has no financial backing, limited FFA support and a potentially uninterested fanbase.
Instead, look at our website and register on our forum.
We are a real club and we are moving forward. People are fed up and we are fighting for our club and our sport once again.

Greetings Mate
Mate I apologise if it sounded like I wanted to destroy your club. Far from it! Mate I am well aware of Sydney Olympics traditions, history and prestige and all of the other NSL clubs for that matter. I am of Polish decent and still support Polonia. So I am well aware of the issues you raised. In no way do we want to make your club seem small or trivial. It’s because of these fine traditions we want to create an alliance with the Sydney Olympic Ultra’s. And promote Sydney Olympic! I can understand most of your concerns especially the one where you stated that the creation of a Western Sydney Gay LeagueClub would be detrimental to your clubs past and future. I am only speaking for the passion I have for this area and for the clubs like yours that put valuable time and resources in building Western Sydney’s fine tradition and culture for football. Mate my club is dead I have to face that reality every day, and there is no ‘Polish’ Club of any real significance anymore. I’m not Italian, So I can’t support Marconi, I’m not Croat so I can’t belong to United, I’m not Serbian So I can’t fit in at Bonnyrigg! I’m not actually condemning these clubs either It’s awesome they have such a fine tradition with their cultures. I wish mine got their act together and acted like the Ultras back home in Poland.
However I feel alienated! And I can’t stand ‘Modern Football’, I actually detest it, but, I don’t want to support my club purely based on race alone. Surely you can see my Delmar? Also I don’t mean this in a detrimental way, but, the face of professional football in this country has changed forever. The only way that any of the NSL clubs are going to make 1st division football again is by implementing promotion and relegation as the federal government is just going to keep bailing out the A-League. Relegation and FA CUP type of competition is something I would support!
In no way do I mean to be insulting, detrimental or condescending towards your club. I actually want to help build bridges with our brothers and sisters and create sister club relationships with them. I do recognize your clubs achievements and I would be willing to promote them. But imagine this FFA give Western Sydney an A-Leauge franchise and we start promoting ‘Against Modern Football’ in our stands with all the ultra’s from the other NSL clubs keeping their own unique indentifies and we make Lowey sorry he ever messed with our traditions in the first place.
