mini, a couple of those players you are telling to F....K OFF won us the Euro Cup. Remember that ! Yeah alright, and? They are quality players but some are past their prime.. karagounis and katsouranis are still able to hold there own but as for charisteas.. well .. he was never good in my opinon.

Charisteas had one excellent tournament for Greece and has done nothing for Greece since.
Karagounis and Katsouranis are far past there prime.
Greece has GREAT talent coming through the ranks, time to bring em in, which is exactly what has been happening.

Greece has GREAT talent coming through the ranks, time to bring em in, which is exactly what has been happening. The reason why he's retaining them in the squad while he's building it for the future is to mix new talent with experience. The youngsters all look towards Karagounis and Katsouranis for leadership and example. Karagouni might be past his prime but his work rate is still good enough to play in the national team, and he has an uncanny talent to win free kicks out of nothing If the older players play in the 2012 euro, it'll be their last tournament.

I agree with you, boys but don't tell them to F... off.
Charisteas wasn't that good, but he picked a great tournament to fire, the 2004 Euro.
