His time is over.

Mate he wouldn't be good enough to play 20s.
Whilst I understand he would be a sentimental favourite given his glorious history at Olympic, the guy is 40, slow as a turtle and can not play at this level.

Del Piero at the age of 38 still going round the Seria A with Juventus look at Angelo Petratos playing for Melita.
Just something to think about.
I am not happy with Bramber, maybe an off the bench apparance for Pablo or a 60 minute run.
Just adds some extra spice and experiance come finals time

Worth signing him for the bench cup final extra time 2-300 per week no more
He won't play much but he could be an option and a good influence on the other strikers

Guys, we can't look at getting players from the past to play just because they wore the jersey once. A player's playing life span is about 10-15 years max. Cardozo wouldn't cut it. The younger fitter players would run him down every time. Then you have injuries. As if Cardozo won't be getting injured left right and center. There are plenty of other players who can do the job. If Olympic had the money they would have been scouting overseas for talent. South America has so much young talent and they don't have enough clubs to cater for them. But with the way things stand with the clubs not being able to sign players for more than a season and have to automatically release the players if an Gay Leagueclub wants them there's no benefit to spend that kind of money to search for talent.
If the FFA gave a shit about all the clubs in Australia then they would make it easier for them to scout and bring talent in. Then the Gay Leagueteams would have even more scouts working for them indirectly. Now it's going to shit.
You guys can want him all you want. But the board, and coaching staff of Olympic would laugh at you if you actually proposed to bring him back. This thread only serves the purpose of discussion.
