In Round 20, of the NSW Premier League Competition, Sydney Olympic FC will take on 7th place Marconi Stallions on Sunday 14th August 2011, at Belmore Sports Ground, with kick-off scheduled at 3.00pm.
After a scoreless 0-0 draw in their previous meeting in Round 9 of the NSWPL competition both teams will be eager for victory. Sydney Olympic will be eager to overcome their recent 2-4 defeat against Sydney United, in the quest to continue winning their remaining games of the season and obtain the Minor Premiership. The Marconi Stallions will be seeking their 6th victory of the season against the ‘Blues’, this Sunday, with the 7th placed Marconi Stallions looking to overcome their previous results and performances.
The Reserve Grade game between the two Clubs kicks off at 1.00pm and Under 18s kick off at 11.00am.
All remaining youth games are scheduled to be played on Saturday 13th August, at Belmore Sports Ground, with the Under 13’s kicking off at 12.15pm.

Marconi Stallions are in 7th position on the Football NSW Premier League table, with 22 points obtained from 18 games. Marconi Stallions have had 5 wins, 6 losses and 7 draws so far this season. In their Round 19 clash against Sutherland Sharks, Marconi obtained an early lead courtesy of their top goal scorer Josh Sama. However, a late penalty taken by Pani Nikas enabled the Sharks to equalize, with the Stallions unable to secure a 3 point victory.
Sydney Olympic FC remain in 1st position on the Football NSW Premier League table, with 38 points obtained from 18 games, all of which 11 games were played as away game fixtures with 7 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats and 5 wins and 2 defeats obtained at home. In the top of the table clash in Round 19, 2nd place Sydney United defeated the ‘Blues’, 2-4, with Michal Cindric, Steve Hayes (2) and Luka Glavas the goal scorers for the visitors. Chris Triantis and Phil Makrys provided the two goals for the ‘Blues’, however the ‘Blues’ were unable to capitalize on several other goal scoring opportunities and obtained their 4th loss of the season.
