My Friends,
Many a time I have been to Melbourne to watch our great team play. Don't be fooled, no-one but SOFC supporters were there for us.
SMFC is just another rival that deserves no more sympathy or support than the likes of SUFC, Preston, Heidelberg Urawa, Man U or any team you would like to mention.
My club football team is SOFC, everyone else is just the enemy.

Sweeper, We are not a Greek club. Olympiacos, PAO, PAOK, Asteras....they are Greek clubs. We are an Australian Club started by Greek Migrants - we have always been a club for all players, coaches, officials and our historical player list is evidence of that. Back on topic, would you expect an Olympiacos supporter to wander on down to a PAO game because their team is playing at a venue they can't get to? Why did/do we expect anyone to turn up for us. We need to realise that no-one will do us any favours - EVER! SMFC is just another scum club 6-0 all these years later and it still burns!!! Mr Inde |

Sweeper, as Mr Inde wrote, we are an Australian Club started by Greek migrants. If we were a Greek club we would be playing in Greece. Boca Juniors was founded by Italian migrants, so you would classify them as Italian rather than Argentinian.

A bit of mutual respect isnt much to ask for. You dont need to love each other or support each others' clubs... but surely some respect is in order? Fuck respecting those cunts. They never respected us when we use to go to Melbourne and they use to abuse us and spit on us. We use to go support them when they came up here when they use to play u guys, and some South supporters even admitted that at the game at Parra Stadium, if it wasn't for some of the Olympic Army Boys, they would have gotten there heads kicked in by ur lot. And how are we thanked for that? By getting spat on when we travel to Melbourne. |

100% correct. They aren't in my good books. I was very disappointed with South Melb.
I respect all the Sydney clubs.
Heidelberg were Ok too.

Mini- I meant that they should be showing you respect. I was actually sticking up for you blokes for a change lol
My post was directed at those saying Olympic isn't a Greek club and shouldn't care about Hellas. I get what they're trying to say... But, ultimately, both clubs were cut from the same cloth. Surely a bit of respect isn't too much to ask for?
