IMO the clubs should communicate with the Ex-NSL clubs
But shouldn't throw every ex-nsl club into the Gay League
How much times did we qualify for the world cup during the NSL Days ? its better like this but trying to permanently kill of the old clubs isnt good
Plus stadiums, crowds are better now
for sure Some NSL Clubs pulled in 10k at some time but even if they were put into the top tier, doubt it that 15,000 would come out of now where
If Olympic could average 10k to 18k per game then you guys would be fit for the A-League
We will see in a few years time

its better of as it is now
as i said if olympic or any other club could make guarantees to get atleast 10k to 18k to home games
then why shoudnt they be in the Gay League?
we will see how many people turn up to the grand final

Why should Olympic guarantee these crowds when no one in the Gay Leagueapart from Victory can?
Olympic should only guarantee that it can pay its bills

Tim Cahill played at Olympic in the youth, and time at United as well I think. So a squad of 20+ players, only 4 didn't have involvement in the NSL

remember this ?
elmore Hercules president Chris Balaouras points out a 2005 Alpha magazine article in which Cahill says he always remembers the Hercules, where he played as a 15- and 16-year-old.
“He credits Belmore Hercules for resurrecting his career,” Balaouras said.
“When he went to Sydney Olympic, they told him he wasn’t good enough.”
Olympic’s loss was Hercules gain and now Cahill is an established player with English club Everton.

And players like Cahill are not being made with this Gay Leaguesystem champ
The FFA inherited all these quality players your argument is flawed buddy
kewell , neil , skoko were did they come from Central Coast mariners? WTF u talking about
And the crowds in 2004 cannot be counted as everyone knew the league would not continue and there was no TV at all.
But what you need to understand is that in the NSL clubs did not fold and go under and were not saved by no governing body and produced better players.
All the Gay Leaguehas done is kruse, zullo and leckie and none of them have done fuck all so far and well see if they do
