George Markos's u16s team is in Italy as we speak. They played Genoa u17s (1st in their comp at present) yesterday afternoon and ended up with a 0-0 draw..not bad for a WHO? coach heh?? 4 boys from his team have now been identified from the AS Roma head coach who came to watch the boys play yesterday. They play Torino tonight and Juventus tomorrow night. With Inter Milan coming up next week. NOT ONE BOY HAS PAID A CENT for the trip. It was paid for by generous donations and fundraisers which George and his team of coaches organised. Ask any of the 16s parents about this WHO coach and you will be lown away with the response. thats massive how can anyone say these kids and this coach wont love olympic!? great effort from them with fundraising and on the park too! wow bravo |

The Sydney Olympic boys beat Torino 3-1 last night!! Wooo hooo...Great work boys! You are doing the Club very proud!!! Juventus tonight...Good Luck!

The fairytale continues.....Sydney Olympic boys had a 1-1 draw with Juventus last night! We should have won. We were up 1-0, and then Juventus scored a goal which was way offside, but they weren't going to let this group of Aussies embarass them, so the goal was allowed.
Please remember, these coaches have never big noted themself and that's why no-one has heard of them. They were with Olympic from 1990-1994 and got Minor Premers 3 of those years.
This years 16s comprised of 4 boys from Association football, yes Earlwood retards and 3 from DYL and 2 from SYL with the rest from PYL. What a great achievement! I am really proud to be associated with these guys.

Solz...you were quick to bag these boys initially, but no response when you hear how well they are doing. Do you have a problem with Olympic having a high profile oveseas? I thought we wanted Olympic to be known by all, for all.

I thought we wanted Olympic to be known by all, for all. Hollywood dont worry mate we all have doubters and people that hate us and our success. just look at kids like Billy Billiris hes probably abt the same age as most of the kids on tour and he raised $35,000 for MS sufferers through his own initiative.. we need to join forces with doers like him and lead by example too. and haha dw abt Psolz hes a good boy at heart! just a little sexually frustrated  |

i have told a few of my friends about the results they do not believe, the club needs to promote this, because once again we are showing we are the bes football club in the country for youth football with out a doubt
