i am glad australia didnt get the world cup, mainly because they dont deserve it.
why should the most prestigious trophy of the sporting world come to a country where the local league doesnt even get any crowds, the local sport (afl) wont even bend its own rules to accomodate and when australia showed its bid the FIFA it was more of a "thanks but no thanks" attitude towards the world cup trophy.

How is it racist? it wanted to set up a fully professional league and did this by introducing the A-League. Why wouldn't you want the World Cup in Australia? Is it because you are scared that if it did happen to come here, Australian football would receive the biggest boost in the sports history? How don't Australia deserve it? They were the only country to bid for 2022 who deserved it. The U.S have already had it, Qatar is an absolute dump, with a population less than Adelaide and area smaller than Sydney, temperature reaches 50 degrees, there is a limit for entertainment, they don't have a football culture, and all the stadiums are in the one city. They only received the rights due to corruption. Put it this way, if they did not revert to bribery would they have stood a chance? Bin Hammam urged some of his backers to vote Japan or Korea early on, to see Australia or the US bow out early. FIFA is a corruptive organisation. |

Listen, the FFA did stuff up on a few things, however, it is a World Cup bid, it is not like we are bidding for a Mickey Mouse Comp. We were competing against some tough competition, but TBH, if the process wasn't corrupt, I reckon we would've ended up in the final 2, possibly winning it. FIFA are not stupid. lol. They are the most corrupt people and fall for anything. They don't care about football legacies, they don't care about their motto "for the game. for the world". All they care about is how they get the cash into their back pocket. And in this case, it came through Qatar. If you cannot see this, then you are more idiotic than I thought you were. Of course IT IS BECAUSE OF BRIBERY YOU PEANUT! If you read the technical report, you will find that they had the worst bid of all of the nine bidders. If the decision was based around that, then Qatar wouldn't have even bid for the Cup. |
