That is not the point.

FFA want FNSW and its money and access to its junior system.

They have taken over all associations except FNSW.

The constitution will be changed to align with FFA and the clubs will have no say on their future.

At the moment is a discussion paper. They've done it in Victoria now they want to do it Australia wide.

The big one is in NSW. They can't do it unless they get NSW on board. Kimon and Jim Forrest will be battling it out on Saturday for the FNSW presidency. If Kimon gets in, Lowy will have control of FNSW.

Then that is the end for us.

May I begin by saying that the answer to the future for the grand old clubs is not clear to anyone at this stage. I understand the purpose of the proposed cup competition it to try and integrate clubs with community football in a tangible way.

The financial viability of clubs is a significant problem at all levels of the game. Regrettably these once great clubs are facing oblivion across the country and some have already been condemned to this. The clubs will need to find ways to remain relevant and vibrant to be part of the next phase.

In my mind, old soccer is as much about the people and fans it produced as the clubs.  These people are important to the fabric of the game in the future.

No simple answer here. I would like to work it out though.

Sydney Olympic FC the club you played for and the club of thousands of people in Sydney, NSW has been shut out by the current FFA.

I ask you what are you going to do for this club?

Is it true you want to relegate clubs like ours to the third tier and that you have been put up for election from members of the FFA to finally destroy these clubs?

A club like Sydney Olympic can survive in today’s Gay Leagueit has the fans, the sponsors, the infrastructure what more does anyone wants, want to hear your thoughts on these please.
