www.therealgame.com.au/opinions/article/8Game, Set and Match FFA! TS Pimpernel Friday, 18 February 2011 Its done and dusted. The Football NSW EGM tomorrow will usher in a new era of football development in NSW and of course Australia. Make no mistake the election tomorrow has not been about old soccer and new soccer. Its been about a choice of which way of football life do we want. Continue with the vicious cycle of systems and practices that create divisions and self interest groups or take the chance and act in unison and then really put football on the Australian landscape. See you tomorrow.

As predicted FFA now have control of FNSW. Vote 37 for 19 against. TD and co did the major push. Jim Forrest resigned at the start of the meeting stating that he was resigning so as to make it easier for voting members. He implored them not to vote for the 4 FFA resolutions. He also stated that there would be legal action fortcoming from some of the severely named people on the CoI report. TD had the control of the meeting beautifully scripted with people in place following script. Buckley, sethright abd Boultbee were present at the request of you guess who - the board. After Jim resigned RS took the chair. Btw. It is now on public record that Buckley and Sestan denied there was a deal especially to do with possible A league licence for western Sydney for SK consortium. Another piece of forum history my friend julio!!!
The battle may have been won but the war is yet to be won. Your delegates have just sold you out and allowed the FFA legally in. You see FFA had no way of coming in unless FNSW allowed them to.

Lets wait and see boys. I don't trust any of them, FNSW or FFA. Could be good, could be bad.

re paoktzi i have grave fears re about it the clubs only count as 1 entire vote - what chance do we have when the clubs are only a small voice in a large kettle of fish
