Boys i think it is simple..sweeper is correct its my generation that has let olympic down.
No advertising is a huge issue as not knowing when the games is on is terrible.
Letting the old boys in for free is not the way to go poaktzi. We need a new generation. Everyone under 40 should have a FAMILY season ticket for $50. Now what this does is firstly get my generation back to olympic that we grew up with and bring our families along.
Dont say cheapen the product because tinkler is doing the same for the jets and its working for him.
Ok we might only go to 2 maybe 3 games a year as you have so many things to do on the weekend BUT those 2 or 3 games will ignite the passion of our younger generation.
Not saying i know much but thats my 2 cents worth.

It's sad but true for all the clubs.
Even last Sunday FNSW couldn't get it right.
Pouring rain all week and they cancel the game 3hrs before kick off.
Apparently people turned up at Belmore.
We were about to leave and I got a call from my cousin.
The old folk haven't got mobiles and computers.
It's the little things like that , that put people off.

havent they ever heard of checking 7 news or the internet for weather up dates

The game was called off the day before... but FNSW only announced it on their FB page, dont think they updated their website.
As for collecting home numbers, that's just stupid. We now have the internet with information at your fingertips. You cant expect clubs/FNSW to collect home numbers and call hundreds of people just because they dont use the internet

mate i wasnt sure, i was gonna go game at 2:30 full walking out and my dad goes where u goin, olympic is called off... saturady nite i was out so didnt use internet... its hard for the oldies
